Description

A nunatak 6 mi S of Staccato Peaks in southern Alexander Island. Mapped from trimetrogon air photography taken by Ronne Antarctic Research Expedition (RARE), 1947-48, and from survey by Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS), 1948-50. Named by UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) after one of the asteroids lying between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.
