Pass at the head of Sunshine Glacier at 455 m elevation situated at the junction of the SW ridge of Mount Nivea and the E end of Brisbane Heights in the central part of Coronation Island, in the South Orkney Islands. The name arises from the general appearance and situation of the feature and was applied by the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) following their survey of 1948-49.
