Description
(see definition):
A high col on the N side of Claydon Peak, Prince Andrew Plateau. Approached from New Years Pass by the New Zealand southern party of the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (CTAE) (1956-58), the party was able to gain a view of the mountains to the north and east. Named by the party because they climbed it in January 1958.
