Description (see definition): A low rocky outcrop (85 m) which extends to Prince Gustav Channel just S of the mouth of Russell East Glacier, Trinity Peninsula. So named by Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) following a 1946 survey because a sun azimuth was obtained from a cairn built near the E end of the outcrop.
