Small group of mountains, more than 875 m, standing W of Prospect Glacier at the S margin of Wordie Ice Shelf, on the W coast of Antarctic Peninsula. Discovered and roughly surveyed in 1936 by the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE) under Rymill. The name was proposed by members of the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE) for Sir Norman B. Kinnear, British ornithologist who, as member of the staff of the British Museum (Natural History), was of great assistance to the British Graham Land Expedition (BGLE).
