Description (see definition): Point forming the N side of the entrance to Godthul, a bay along the N coast of South Georgia. Charted in 1928 by a Norwegian expedition under Harald Horntvedt. Recharted by DI personnel in 1929 and named after Walter Hume Long (1854-1924), Secretary of State for the Colonies, 1926-18; First Lord of the Admiralty, 1919-21.
