A peak (815 m) at the edge of Ross Ice Shelf, surmounting the N extremity of Lillie Range. Discovered and photographed by the Byrd Antarctic Expedition (ByrdAE) (1928-30) and named for Howard F. Mason, radio engineer who wintered with that expedition at Little America.
