Description

A glacier, 12 mi long, between Mapple Glacier and Pequod Glacier on the E coast of Graham Land. It flows into Exasperation Inlet southward of Mount Ahab. Surveyed by Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey (FIDS) in 1947 and 1955. Named by UK Antarctic Place-names Committee (UK-APC) after Herman Melville (1819-91), author of Moby Dick. Other features in the area are named after characters in the story.
